Purpose of this website
This website introduces PB72 and the racing programs, experiences, charter and partnership opportunities we are developing around her. It is provided for general information only.
No offer or contract
Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation or a contract. Racing programs, race entries, experiences, charters, sponsorships and partnerships are subject to availability, to the decisions of race organisers, and to a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Where we describe races PB72 could enter, packages we could offer or itineraries we could sail, these are proposals and may change or not take place.
Accuracy of information
We take care to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors. In particular:
- Specifications, weights and dimensions come from design documents and may differ from the yacht as built or as modified.
- Performance figures, including speeds and polar data, are predictions from a velocity prediction program and simulation. They are being validated in sea trials and are not guaranteed.
- Race dates and events are set by their organisers and may change.
- Historical results refer to the original Extreme H2O unless stated otherwise.

Figures from the Morrelli & Melvin general arrangement (PB72_001, Rev A, August 2022) and the Persico Marine build specification. Displacements are approximate as-built figures from Ferdinand van West (2026); righting moments are design estimates; performance figures are VPP predictions, calculated at the 20,280 kg design racing displacement.
Every cell is a predicted boat speed from the velocity prediction program. The circled cells are the targets PB72 has already hit in her first sea trials, with the foils still trimmed by hand. Each one came in on target.

Predicted speeds from the velocity prediction program. Sea-trial targets achieved with manual foil trim; the automatic flight-control system comes online after calibration.
- VPP targets calculated at
- 20,280 kg
- Design racing displacement
- Sea trials sailed at
- ≈ 21,500 kg
- As-built racing displacement
Every circled target was reached with the boat about 1.2 tonnes heavier than the weight the predictions assume.
